How Does Pet Insurance Work?
- Pick a plan that is best for you.
With four options, you can pick a plan that works best for you and your life. Whether that best fits your lifestyle, budget, or level of coverage. - Waiting period completion.
A waiting period is required for coverage to kick in. Illness is 14 days, accidents is 48 hours, and coverage for dental care, cruciate ligament issues and IVDD are six months. - Receive veterinary bills and submit them.
When at the veterinary, have an authorized veterinary clinic employee complete the necessary paperwork and have them sign the claim form in order to submit. - Reimbursement.
Either by direct deposit or cheque, you’ll receive your reimbursement to the preferred format of your choice.
